Just one of the many aspects that makes Niji-Iro Japanese Immersion Elementary School special is the traditional American and Japanese celebrations.

In Japan, the changing of the seasons is marked by Akimatsuri, a fall festival in which friends and family partake in fun games, crafts, food, dance and parades.

Akimatsuri quickly became a popular tradition at Niji-Iro, an LPS K-6 school that offers a Japanese - English dual immersion program.

The school is accepting applications for second trimester entry through a limited schools of choice program, offered to residents of Wayne County and adjacent counties. To learn more, please see the information that is posted on the front page of the LPS website.
